Dr. Ahmad Vahidi, Minister of the Interior, said: “The subject of artificial intelligence knowledge is pursued by universities and its technology by knowledge-based companies, and the production of artificial intelligence products should receive more attention in the country.” We must also set practical goals for this area. One of the applications of artificial intelligence is related to the field of transportation and automobiles. We must define a good road map for this field so as not to lag behind the world. If we move late, we will fall behind in this area where technology is ground-breaking and ground-breaking. This field integrates several different knowledges. If a product is not produced in this field, even if we have the knowledge and technology, we will still not make progress. The topics of this field should be practical and lead to product production.

Professor Shahriar Afandizadeh, the Deputy Minister of Transport of the Ministry of Roads and Urban Development, also said “The development of transport in all important countries of the world is considered as an infrastructure for economic issues, therefore the use of new technologies such as artificial intelligence is considered among the policies of all countries. In Iran, good measures have been taken regarding this issue in the past few years, but we have a long way to go for its full implementation. Apart from considering issues such as safety, speed and comfort, environmental and economic issues should also be taken into consideration. Any tool that helps in this matter is appreciated. Currently, combined transportation is on the agenda of all communities at the local, national, and international levels, and they have concluded bilateral and multilateral agreements regarding the realization of this task. We should also consider a specific policy and position regarding this issue in the country.”

Professor Abbas Aliabadi also said “Electric cars are designed and manufactured in Mapna. Currently, domestic electric batteries are installed on Kerman Khodro vehicles. Also, connected cars are being operated in the Mapna group.”
