As a continuation of the major national project entitled “Study and Design of Intelligent Urban and Interurban Transportation Systems,” the International Conference on Artificial Intelligence and Smart Vehicles aims to provide a forum for dialogue among researchers, engineers and specialists interested in advanced smart vehicle technologies and intelligent transportation systems. The conference will focus on innovative applications, tools and infrastructure across all areas of artificial intelligence, such as machine learning, data mining, computer vision, image processing, signal processing, decision support systems and expert systems, for processing data and making decisions based on vehicle black boxes, vehicle electronic control units (ECUs), the mobile phones and smartwatches of vehicle occupants and pedestrians, and wireless communications between vehicles, between vehicles and infrastructure, and among people, vehicles and infrastructure. In addition, all issues relating to the design and manufacture of vehicles and vehicle systems, marketing, and related matters addressed using artificial intelligence solutions will be considered. Infrastructure equipment such as smart routes, smart intersections and control centers, which certainly affect vehicle systems, also falls within the conference’s specialist areas. The conference’s key topics include the following:
Data mining of vehicle and pedestrian data
Processing images from cameras installed in vehicles
Processing roadway images and extracting information about vehicles, pedestrians and roadways
Data mining of motion signals
Machine learning and deep learning for predicting driver and pedestrian behavior
